TV personality Paul Burt, star of his own popular show on 7 MateStep Outside with Paul Burt’ and weather presenter for 7News in Queensland, has teamed up NM Insurance in an ambassadorial role.

Commencing in February 2024, Paul’s appointment as NM Insurance Ambassador, will see the TV presenter share his passion for the outdoors through media interviews, social and digital content and through the Nautilus Marine Magazine.

Operating in Australia and New Zealand, NM Insurance encompasses a stable of specialist insurance brands focused on marine, motorcycling, caravanning, and cargo. Paul Burt’s ambassadorial role aligns with the three main consumer insurance markets NM Insurance operates within: boats, motorcycles, and caravans.

Paul’s enthusiasm for the outdoors began on family holidays when he was young. In 1993 this was translated into print when he began writing a weekly column for the Gold Coast Bulletin about fishing. Soon after he was on television where he has gained a substantial following due to his knowledge and interactive style. Now into its sixth season, ‘Step Outside with Paul Burt’ screens on 7 Mate around Australia and is popular for being both educational and entertaining. From fishing to handy tips and cooking, the show brings to the audience a wealth of information on all things outdoors.
