A world leader in fishing electronics, Lowrance has launched a new trolling motor, the Ghost X, and has released software update 25.2, which is packed with innovative trolling motor features, significant enhancements to ActiveTarget 2, and expanded third-party integrations.

“We are excited to launch the all-new Ghost X 47-inch trolling motor, adding another powerful tool to the Ultimate Fishing System,” says Jeremiah Clark, VP & General Manager, Fishing Systems at Navico Group. “The Ghost X was designed with direct input from customers, allowing us to make meaningful improvements based on their needs. It offers unmatched positioning accuracy, greatly enhanced power, and intuitive control.”

Clark also says that the new software update, 25.2, reflects Lowrance’s “ongoing commitment to delivering smarter, more intuitive tools that help anglers fish more effectively and efficiently. From our new advanced trolling motor controls to sharper sonar imaging and seamless third-party integration, every feature is purposefully designed to give anglers more confidence, control, and improve their time on the water.” This latest update introduces a powerful suite of new features for trolling motors, including Depth Routing, which allows users to automatically chart a course that keeps the boat within a specified depth range, Anchor at a Distance, and Anchor Orbit.
