The Lipton Cup Regatta returns on 14-16 November, hosted by the Royal Yacht Club of Victoria, and is expected to draw more than 200 entries across multiple classes. Festivities begin on Friday evening with an invitational Twilight Race, bringing together local and visiting boats for a short passage race, followed by the Pre-Regatta Briefing and Royals’ renowned hospitality.

Free berthing is provided for all visiting competitors, ensuring everyone can enjoy the full weekend. Racing will begin in earnest on Saturday, with Off The Beach (OTB) classes – including International Cadets, Optimists and Mirrors – competing north of the club in Hobsons Bay. Meanwhile, the Keelboat Fleet will head south to Altona Bay for up to three windward/leeward races, ranging from mixed fleet divisions to One Design racing in Adams 10s, S80s, Bluebirds and Etchells. On Sunday, the OTB fleet will continue with a Sprint Series, while all keelboats will combine for a medium-distance passage race to close out the regatta.
