A slew of races and social events has Townsville buzzing which is only fitting for the finale of the Queensland Season of Sailing.
North Queensland is becoming one of Australia’s premier sailing destinations. So much so that we have extended this year’s regatta by an extra day.
The 12th annual SeaLink Magnetic Island Race Week offers first-class racing on the crystal blue waters of Cleveland Bay from 30th August to 5th September 2018, following on from the Airlie Beach and Hamilton Island Race Weeks and is the finale of the Queensland Season of Sailing.
Magnetic Island, which is situated off the coast of Townsville within the World Heritage Listed Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, will once again play host to the SeaLink Magnetic Island Race Week, in the backyard of this beautiful tropical paradise – a fresh adventure on the Australasian off-shore scene.
