The 2026 Nautilus Marine Insurance Sydney Harbour Regatta, staged by Middle Harbour Yacht Club (MHYC), is gearing up for its 21st anniversary. Set to take place 7-8 March, the regatta is one of the largest competitive keelboat regattas in Australia. This year will see around 180 keelboats racing across 17 divisions in seven course areas throughout Sydney Harbour, as well as offshore near Sydney Heads.
“What makes the Nautilus Marine Insurance Sydney Harbour Regatta special is not just the quality of racing, but the sense of community that sits behind it,” says Andrew Forbes, CEO of MHYC. “Nautilus Marine Insurance has been a valued partner in building that culture, supporting an event that brings together clubs, volunteers and sailors from across the harbour for a truly standout competitive weekend of racing.”
The Nautilus Marine Insurance Sydney Harbour Regatta sees great camaraderie, not just at the Club after the racing, but also in the organising, with many clubs assisting MHYC to run the event. Racing action will take place over Saturday and Sunday, culminating in the presentation evening on Monday 9 March.
