The 2026 Sea-Doo launch delivered an unforgettable day on the Gold Coast Broadwater, with Couran Cove on South Stradbroke Island the perfect backdrop. Pierce O’Brien, Sea-Doo Brand & Product Manager – APAC was there to greet us, along with the ever professional JSW Powersports team. From there, we were chauffeured across the water on a pontoon boat to our home base for the day – ‘Sea-Doo House’ – a luxury waterfront residence that was perfect for showcasing the next generation of personal watercraft (PWC).
Lined up along the pontoon like a fleet awaiting deployment was the entire 2026 Sea-Doo PWC range, each model gleaming in the morning light and ready to demonstrate just how far refinement and innovation have come.
The day kicked off with a full model line introduction from the renowned and highly experienced JSW Powersports Manager, James Berger. James walked us through all 12 models available to test, highlighting the new systems, refined controls, and clever tweaks that define the 2026 lineup. His insights set the tone for a day of discovery, performance, and hands-on appreciation for what Sea-Doo has engineered for the year ahead.
It was a windy day so there was a decent chop with wind against tide to test the ubiquitous Sea-Doo Spark and the flagship, the powerful Sea-Doo GTX Limited 325. Its power and stability shone in the rougher water. Nearer to the shore there were more protected waters for calmer riding, perfect for fishos to go for a flick on the Sea-Doo FishPro Trophy 170 with its clever rotating seat system. The Sea-Doo crew did a great job of accommodating the journalists present, with fresh fish for lunch and plenty of time given to test each Sea-Doo PWC. What stood out most was the fit and finish of each model, the simple usability of phone storage, and ease of power modes, and of course the 10.25-inch touch screens.
Sea-Doo GTR 230 Test Ride
The Sea-Doo GTR 230 impressed straight away, with its broad power range and predictable handling in the choppy conditions off Couran Cove. It’s stable, and having not ridden for a while, it was nice to slide back into it without instant arm pump. The Sea-Doo GTR 230 is more about longer days in the saddle for cruising and exploring, so the big 96l storage for all your beach gear and Bluetooth audio made the day a whole lot more fun, as did the comfortable ride. The Sea-Doo GTR 230 just does everything so easily and smoothly. If you want to jump off for a swim, it’s simple to pull yourself back out onto the swim platform, and there is plenty of grunt for tow sports with the family.

Sea-Doo RXT-X RS 325
The 2026 RXT-X is the ultimate offshore watercraft for riders who crave speed and control. It features the most powerful engine in the Sea-Doo lineup: a Rotax 1630 supercharged engine that produces a spectacular 325hp. It can carry up to three passengers, and offers a stable and predictable ST3 hull.

Sea-Doo FishPro Trophy
The 2026 Sea-Doo FishPro Trophy delivers all the gear serious anglers demand. It will get you closer to the action, has an anchoring system, ample storage, an advanced battery system for your electronics and a seat that converts into a pedestal for sight-fishing. It also has coolers for your catch, rod holders, Garmin 9” GPS & Fish Finder and more.
