Simrad has expanded compatibility of its AutoTrack radar feature across its recreational Halo range, excluding Halo 20, and is now extending support to select Lowrance and B&G systems. Previously limited to Halo 2000 and 3000 open array radars, AutoTrack is now available on Simrad, Lowrance and B&G Halo 20+ and Halo 24 dome radars.
The intelligent feature automatically detects, tracks and prioritises moving targets, displaying clear visual cues and trajectory lines, while minimising on-screen clutter. A dynamic widget surfaces only the most critical alerts, even when radar is not in active use. Capable of tracking up to 50 targets at ranges of 24 nautical miles, AutoTrack is enabled by default via the latest software update, and integrates seamlessly with Simrad, Lowrance, and B&G multifunction displays.
