The immensely popular SeaLink Magnetic Island Race Week (SMIRW), taking place from 31 August to 6 September, is another sell out.
Proudly supported by Nautilus Marine Insurance, this year marks the 16th edition of the North Queensland event.
SMIRW follows on from Hamilton Island Race Week, which Nautilus Marine Insurance is also a proud partner of, and provides a great finish to the North Queensland regatta circuit. Peppers Blue on Blue Resort, the central hub of SMIRW, is easily accessible via ferry ride from Townsville to Magnetic Island.
There’ll be an exciting lineup of onshore activities for both participants and spectators including post-racing evening entertainment, Father’s Day celebrations, live music, free kids’ activities, markets, and a variety of food stalls.
